BAPA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Please note: To ensure all application documentation is received and taken into consideration by our scholarship committee members, please validate that all application process steps below have been completed. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. The deadline to submit all application materials is April 16, 2021. Late submissions will not be accepted. 

Application Process:

Part 1: Application Form Submission

Using the scholarship application link below, please fill out all required fields and attach the requested supplementary documentation. The supplementary documentation must be in PDF format and includes:
 

  1. Student's current academic transcript (unofficial college transcripts are permitted)
     

  2. Written essays

a. Please describe your personal and professional goals. (250 words maximum) 

b. Please describe your involvement in and commitment to your community. (500 words maximum) 

c. Please list any interests or areas of research for the required research project. Projects may be related to the students’ fields of study, themes concerning Bosnia and Herzegovina or the BiH-American diaspora, or in other ways connect to BAPA’s mission. (150 words maximum) 

d. Optional: Please explain your financial need or special circumstances, which may include the financial need or special circumstances of your immediate family members. (150 words maximum)
 

Part 2: Letter of Recommendation

We require one letter of recommendation written independently by an educator, employer, mentor, or community leader who can attest to the students qualifications. The letter must be in PDF form and needs to be sent by the writer to our email account at bapanetwork@gmail.com
